Richard E. (Dick) Williams
Richard E. (Dick) Williams, PE spent 36 years with Shell Oil Company--primarily with their Pipelines business and then serving as President of Shell WindEnergy for 6 years. His last roles before retiring from Shell included being a Loaned Executive to Wetlands International, in The Netherlands, and a Loaned Executive to the United Way of Greater Houston. Over his career, he did work in more than 40 states and 20 countries on behalf of Shell.
Robert Ambrose received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Mechanical Engineering. He received his M.S. and B. S. degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Ambrose serves as the Division Chief of the Software, Robotics and Simulation Division at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas.
Jack Hanagriff is a 34-year veteran with the Houston Police Department. For the last seven years he has been on special assignment to the Mayor’s Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security, where he currently serves as the Coordinator of the Regional Risk and Critical Infrastructure Protection Program.

Lenny Schad has been in the technology field for 25 years. During that time period, his career has taken him into many business sectors where he has established a very successful leadership and management track record. His range of business sector experience includes hospitality, government, oil and gas, investment banking and education.
Bob has been in the I.T. industry for over 20 years and managed teams at Compaq Computer Corporation, HP, and now HPE. He is currently the director of server software for the HPE server division and leads the initiative for incorporating cyber security protection technology in our servers, networking, and storage solutions.
After 15 years at IBM, Pierluigi Stella co-founded Network Box USA (the American division of Network Box Corporation Ltd) in 2003. As CTO, he has extensive knowledge of security issues with emphases on the healthcare; banking; and education sectors.
Mary Dickerson is Assistant Vice President/Assistant Vice-Chancellor for IT Security and serves as Chief Information Security Officer for the University of Houston and the University of Houston System.
Dr. Stan Napper
Dr. Stan Napper moved to Houston in August 2017 to be the founding dean of the new College of Engineering at HBU. He had been on the faculty of Louisiana Tech University for 33 years, he also received his BS and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering. During those years, Dr. Napper served as a professor of Biomedical Engineering, Dean of the College of Engineering and Science (2004 – 2013) and lastly as vice president for Research and Development.
Experienced Information Technology Manager with 35 years of experience in the utilities industry. Currently responsible for Cyber Security, Identity and Access Management, Compliance and Cyber Incident Response utilizing the NIST Framework for CenterPoint Energy. Previous responsibilities included Physical Security, Business Process, Smart Grid, Enterprise Architecture, LAN, Support Desk and Network design. Attended the University of Texas at El Paso and The University of Houston-Downtown earning a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies.
Jesse Carrillo is responsible for directing all corporate technology, strategy and standards for Hines
worldwide. Jesse joined Hines in 1994 as a consultant to assist in the implementation of the firm's
accounting and property management software. He took over the responsibility for Hines IT as CTO in 2007
and later promoted to CIO in 2009. Mr. Carrillo completed undergraduate studies at Trinity University, where
he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, and received his Master of Business
Administration degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
